Necessitating Change unveils a novel way of life that no one intuitively develops, provides tools of self-governance that schools never teach, reveals ugly truths we've been programmed to ignore, and presents controversial yet liberating facts we have no choice but to accept. We have been going through the motions, treading mindlessly through life, making uninformed decisions based on little to no understanding of the protagonist-ourselves. In a world of everchanging people, places, and practices, the archaic and maladaptive psyche we blindly inherit deprives us of twenty-¿rst-century privileges and opportunities we unknowingly forego-setting ourselves up for disappointment and depressingly familiar, unful¿lled lives. You may have been feeling incompatible with life's paradigms and memes, assuming preordained suffering, questioning your sanity and life choices, wondering if there is something intrinsically wrong with the world as you see it. You may have been questioning all that is uncontrollable and disregarding what is: your outlook, your mindset, your motivations, your method. Necessitating Change details an actionable "Quasi-Chaotic Lifestyle" model whose core principles are founded on the adaptive, ef¿cient, and value-driven industry-proven software development standard: the Agile philosophy. Unlike the pseudoscienti¿c, "believe in yourself," think-harder-but-not-so-much word salads you ¿nd littering most self-help bookshelves, this proposed lifestyle is substantiated by multidisciplinary empirical evidence with realistic instructions and examples that make it easy to follow and achieve unparalleled immediate and enduring life-changing results. Within these pages is an inclusive, accessible, and practical twenty-¿rst-century guide to Self-Actualization, outlining a path for cultivating an examined life of ful¿llment and everlasting growth to conquer your fullest potential, as you see ¿t, in your own individualistic way. Necessitating Change is the book you never knew you needed. If you were looking for an answer, this is it.
Autorenporträt
Najib Al Chamaa was a video game addict, spending up to ten hours every day in front of a screen for eight years. He was kicked out of his university for failing his first three semesters and was in the process of getting deported for it. He fell to daily substance abuse for two years, got himself into crippling debt, was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder, and endured a year of medication, suffering side effects and withdrawal. He attempted to take his own life. Today, Najib is a specialist in Agile practices, business analytics, web/system design, branding, digital marketing, and is currently pursuing a PhD in psychology. Having earned a Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems and a Master's of Networks and Security, he was appointed the role of lecturer by the age of twenty-six at the very university where his first enrollment was terminated. From developing and managing some of Oceania's biggest private game servers, to founding and growing a successful creative agency to a team of six, to directing chapters of one of the biggest professional referral networks in the world, to designing and composing master's degree units for Australia's most prolific university, Najib now seeks to bring change-real change-to those willing to commit to a unique lifestyle he formulated, called the Quasi-Chaotic Lifestyle, of which he remains a student; the answer he owes his life to.
