Autorenporträt
Nastassia Pyrsczek was born in 1997. Most summers of her childhood were spent outside of the city, in a small village that was slowly turning into a summer retreat. There, as an anxious child, she was often unnerved by the all-consuming darkness of the countryside nights, as well as their eerie quietness, which amplified the smallest of sounds tenfold. This, along with her academic interest in Weird Fiction, explored in both her bachelor's and master's theses, serves as the inspiration behind this book, with fragments of old family photos serving as its illustrations.
