This book presents FPGA-realization of the intelligent controller for sensorless Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor drives. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed architecture of system, the co-simulation and experiment works are demonstrated. The intelligent control methods are applied for controlling the rotor velocity; the rotor flux position of PMSM is estimated by using sliding mode observer and extended kalman filter. In this book, a mathematical model of PMSM drive is firstly defined. Secondly, the vector control and SVPWM are designed. Thirdly, to cope with noise and dynamic…mehr

Thirdly, to cope with noise and dynamic uncertainty affect to system, the intelligent controls are designed for speed control of PMSM. Fourthly, the sensorless control methods are applied. Fifthly, the Very High Speed IC Hardware Description Language by using Finite State Machine method is presented to realize all the aforementioned controllers. Finally, the co-simulation and experimental results validate the effectiveness of the sensorless PMSM speed control system, such as step response, sinusoid response etc. The outstanding of this book is to apply the intelligent controller in sensorless PMSM drives.
