The law on charter party is vast, complex and developing thereby making an in-depth study into the subject matter imperative. Also, it establishes a confident approach in the resolution of disputes arising from charter party and how to put together a charter, by working through the terms and key points relating to charter party. It therefore elucidates clearly and concisely on the rules governing charter party contracts in Cameroon vis-à-vis the various pieces of legislations applicable in Cameroon. It seeks to analyse the legal issues relating to charter parties by examining them in a logical manner, progressively tracing the subject from its creation to its termination and the possible remedies available in case of breach of any obligation.
