Hanuman, according to ancient Hindu beliefs, was a bridge to safety for his people. In India and later in other parts of Asia tales of the Monkey King abound. This often playful deity is still well loved throughout the world and inspired the creation of this modern tale. My story takes place in the near future and we see the world through the eyes of Han Zucharino, a very special twelve year old boy who is not permitted to leave his New Jersey house. His mother agrees to hire a personal martial arts coach if they sign a confidentiality contract. Aeson Cadmus, a twenty-three year old MMA fighter with anger issues turns out to be the man for the job. Monkey King is book one of my original series. It's about facing fears, building relationships, and discovering one's own personal power. This exciting and suspenseful story will introduce you to the Ultimate Underground, VIP technology, the Zucharino family, Aeson The Fighter Cadmus, and most importantly The Monkey King. I am a writer, but Middle School teacher is my day job, seventh grade humanities to be exact. I have been told that I am a very good teacher. My secrets - respect and love. I also teach Judo and Yoga, and continue to train in Jiu-Jitsu. I live in Durango Colorado with my awesome wife and my new baby boy!
