Nicole's love for writing began when she was a preteen, she started with writing poems and short stories. People so loved her talent that they would ask her to write poems for special occasions which only fueled her desire to write. In 2016 she published a heart-wrenching novella, "JJ Girl Undone" based on a true story. Later that year she published two short children's books, "If Your Dog Could Talk," and "Proud To Be Me," with the hopes of boosting confidence, self-esteem and self-love for young children. Later in 2017, she put her imagination to work when she published "The Coldest Heart," an urban suspense novel. Nicole has a passion for helping people overcome painful experiences and see the light beyond the darkness. She also has a desire to work with children to help them realize their full potential in life, to fulfill this passion she is pursuing a degree in psychology with a special focus on child development, while also working with a foundation to implement an anti-bullying and after-school program. Along with her passion for writing, she also has a passion for baking and creating delicious and eye-catching specialty cakes which she does while working full-time and being a full-time student. She is a mother and grandmother who loves spending time with her family and especially loves spending time with her grandchildren.
