Nicole Leitz Garcia knew she wanted to write books ever since she learned to read. The desire to write and share her love of reading with children was ignited when she participated in the Teach for America program in Phoenix in 2006 and taught four incredible groups of second graders. Dana Kagawa, chief creator of moxie3innovations, a design, printing, and value added company, always embraced her passion for art. A fine art major from California Lutheran University, Dana draws much of her inspiration and energy from her homegrown roots in Hawaii.
