Additionally, procedure of calculation and analysis of EVA and MVA has been conversed in detail. The relationship between MVA, EVA and traditional measures of performance appraisal has also been assessed using Panel Data Analysis Technique. A brief analysis of social performance too is included which gives details about social activities performed by steel companies for the betterment of the society. Suggestions for enhancing liquidity, profitability and solvency position of the companies, for shareholder value creation are also mentioned.
