Autorenporträt

John Welch is a member of the Carmelite Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary. He specialized in courses on spirituality and human development at the Washington Theological Union. He has been president of the Carmelite Institute of North America (1993-2001). He is the author of numerous books, among these are-- Spiritual Pilgrims: Carl Jung and Teresa of Avila (1982); When God's Die: An Introduction to John of the Cross (1990); The Carmelite Way: An Ancient Path for Today's Pilgrim (1996); An Interior Life: Rummaging through the Christian Tradition (2022).
