Based on salinity indices, the tolerance order of okra varieties to salinity in decreasing order were noted against salinity in siltyclay soil. Best efforts have been made to incorporate all the possible details of every objectives. This book would be paramount importance for selecting the okra varieties to grow with saline irrigation water for farmers facing challenges in saline-rich environments and for students as it depicted the effect of salinity on growth, yield, biochemical parameters (proline, RWC and chlorophyll) as well as nutrient composition of different okra varieties.
