Produktbeschreibung
After several years of working as a therapist with not only professional dancers but pre-professional dancers as well, Sonsoles Alonso makes an analysis and reflection of the possible causes for common overuse injuries that she repeatedly observes in her different patients. She focuses in the areas of spine, pelvis, and hip, due to the high number of affectations she observes in these areas, and the possible connections these areas have on the rest of the body. Concluding that the root of the injuries may very often be the same, she highlights the importance of analysing the pre-professional context, in order to decrease the risks for significant injuries that the dancer may later face during his or her professional career.
