Sophia Campana is an Elite-level professional artistic gymnast, motivational instructor, and social media influencer in both Italy and the U.S. She captured national media attention in Italy as a cast member of MTV's 2015 Vite Parallele (Parallel Lives), a reality show depicting gymnasts' journeys.Sophia competed at the Colorado State Championships at age eleven, where she won the Floor Exercise. From there, she qualified to seven consecutive Regional Championships and to the Cancun Classic in Mexico at age twelve. At seventeen, Sophia qualified as a Level 10 gymnast to the U.S. National Invitational Tournament, taking Gold on Balance Beam, Bronze on Uneven Bars, and Fifth Place All-Around.With dual citizenship in Italy, Sophia achieved her goal of training at the Elite level with the Italian National Team. She first competed in Serie A, Italy's professional league in 2015, with her team taking First Place at the prestigious Italian Golden League competition. She joined Serie A again in 2017 and 2022. In 2021 she was Italy's National Champion on Bars.With a lifetime dedicated to gymnastics, self-belief, self-discipline, and reaching for personal gold, Sophia is on to her next mission. Drawing on the lessons from her challenges in the gym, she now guides others toward igniting their own Fire Within, by encouraging them to embrace their passions, pursue their dreams, and reach their fullest potential. She spreads her message via social media and her signature Powerful Mind program, which she disseminates through an Italian video course and accompanying workbook, along with gym workshops in both countries.Based on her experience and influence, Sophia was selected as a member of the Italian Gymnastics Federation's new Safeguarding board, an entity tasked with implementing policies and initiatives to protect athletes from all types of abuse.
