Sophie Defauw is a multidisciplinary writer born in Colombia in 2000. She began her academic journey at the age of 13, studying Art at the Mexican Institute of Fine Arts. Then, studied a B.A. in Art History, and a postgraduate degree in Design Thinking, both at the University of Florence. Recently, she received a professor certification from the University of Salamanca and has been a guest lecturer and speaker at several universities, including UC Berkeley. Beyond academia, she has excelled in various fields, such as engineering winning Elon Musk's Not-a-Boring competition, sports, ranking in the top 50 worldwide in windsurfing, and entrepreneurship, founding two successful startups. These experiences are reflected in her writing.
