In Ethiopia many medicinal plants are used for the treatment of malaria including Dodonaea angustifolia seed without considering their side effects. The results of hematological and biochemical analysis as well as the microscopic examinations of the liver and kidney sections were compared with control groups.

Soressa Abebe Geneti has BSC in Biology and MSC degree in Clinical Anatomy. He taught at Bole Secondary School for two years and at Jimma Teachers College for two years. Currently he is teaching at Jimma University, College of Public Health and Medical Sciences. Besides, he prepared several teaching materials/modules.
