Studies on the comparative pharmacokinetics of Ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin were conducted following a single intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous administration at the dose rate of 5mg/kg body weight in two groups of cow calves. Based on the studies it was evident that these drugs can be given by any of the above routes. The dose rate of Ofloxacin may be 2.5 and 5 mg/kg body weight while the dose of Ciprofloxacin may be 3-5 mg/kg body weight.
