Within the many folds of Bread & Butter like no other, are uncharted feelings of falling deeply for a stranger who oddly feels familiar or perhaps a familiar who slowly becomes a stranger. The folds are bounded in four pieces, guiding you through the Falling, the Dwelling, the pains of Leaving, and the warmth of Loving. It is not a path or a journey but a wandering trail of recollections, reminding us that a hand we once held tight may have only let go so that we may become a freer soul. Autorenporträt
Saeed Rahman-born in the KSA and tossed around the Middle East like an old duffle bag patched with scotch tape. By blood he is Pakistani, but by the prevalent sense of home, he is a nomad. As far as he can remember, stories have always been a part of his wandering nature. Like many daydreamers, he'd even find himself spending hours in the fictions of his mind. As he aged, he learned that the very act of conjuring stories, be it in a form of rhyme or time, was a gift given to him by the divine he is still quite unsure of. He progressed his art of writing in his free time and during his time at Cleveland State University. He acquired a minor in English and felt compelled enough to compose his first poetry publication, Bread & Butter like no other. He hopes to publish plenty more poetry as well as fiction in the coming years and may well do so till the very end of his time.
