Raman Spectroscopy is a great tool available for material characterization.This book deals with the experiment,simulation and analysis.The optical alignment plays a very important role in the spectroscopy.The importance is given for the setting up of the experiment. After standardizing the setup, the spectrum of the Single Walled Carbon Nano-tube was collected.The shape and electrical characterization of the SWCNT was done by analyzing the spectrum. The aminoacids spectrum was collected experimentally and simulated in Gaussian software to obtain the theoretical spectrum for the correlation. The spectrum of the newly synthesized diarylideneacetone (DBA) was collected and validated theoretically using GAUSSIAN software. The most important part of the spectroscopy, analysis for the all spectrums was done using KnowItAll software.
