Among two strains were exhibited laccase activity DVRSGPD-1 and DVRSGPD-2 have exhibited laccase activity and hence we have used these two cultures for further studies. Based on morphological, molecular analysis it was confirmed that the cultures DVRSGPD-1 was closely related to the sequences of Cochliobolus hawaiiensis and DVRSGPD-2 to Aspergillus niger.
