Salam Hakeem is an instructor at the College of Languages, Salahaddin University, Iraq. He received his Bachelor, MA, and PhD degrees in English Language and Linguistics from the same university. His research focused on how people from different cultures or speaking different languages may use different politeness strategies in their interactions.
