This book is a comprehensive guide on how, when and where to develop Inland fisheries and aquaculture in Sierra Leone and sub-Saharan Africa. The book analysed different socioeconomic, political and market factors that affect the feasibility of aquaculture production. The geographic information system models developed in the book provides a guide on where aquaculture production is feasible based on production factors. Although the factors scores and weightings used in this book may not be the same scores and weighting for other countries, but the factors of production are pretty much the same globally, therefore the book can be used globally as guide on aquaculture feasibility study for both small scale and commercial level aquaculture production. It is a very useful reference material for both academia and the private sector individuals and cooperate bodies interested in investing in aquaculture as a business.
