Wind power continues to be one of the most promising renewable energy sources. Over the last decade, the wind industry has seen exponential growth, and wind farms are popping up all over the world, it's currently the renewable energy source that can best compete with fossil fuel power plants in some regions around the world. Wind power continues to be one of the most promising renewable energy sources. Over the last decade, the wind industry has seen exponential growth, and wind farms are popping up all over the world, it's currently the renewable energy source that can best compete with fossil fuel power plants in some regions around the world. Wind power as an alternative to fossil fuels, is plentiful, renewable, widely distributed, clean and produces no greenhouse gas emissions during operation, the effects on the environment are generally less problematic than those from other power sources. In this project the wind energy was introduced, we classified the main component of wind turbines, types of wind generators, economics benefits, grid connection requirements and methods for connection to grid, and finally we study the main technical issues from integration into grid and ways to resolve it.
