Samantha Frew spent her childhood in Queensland, Australia amongst the Australian bush. Her picture books incorporate beautiful Australian wildlife with re-occurring themes of determination, purpose and family. Samantha has previously worked closely with children in schools and childcare and is very involved with her local community.Samantha lives amongst the gum trees in the Noosa Hinterland with her husband, three children and an abundance of Native Australian animals.Her greatest hope for the readers of her books is to fill them with a sense of wonder and appreciation for the peculiar and often quirky behaviours of our wildlife in the beautiful country.
