S. Tasnim was born in Bangladesh in 1986. She received the B.Sc. and M.Sc degree in physics from Jahangirnagar University. She iscurrently working as lecturer at Stamford University Bangladesh. Her main research field is theoretical and computational plasma physics, which involves nonlinear structures in space and laboratory plasmas.
