I have undertaken to answer the following questions in order to justify why religion is used as a label of violence in Nigeria. Religious violence in Nigeria is influenced by other factors in which religion is immediately labeled as the cause of such conflicts between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria.

Pastor Samuel John Ekpo, holds a Master degree in Theology (Specialization in Systematic Theology and Philosophy of Religions) from Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He also holds a B.A in Theology from West Africa Theological Seminary and a diploma in Computer Science from Ogun State University, Nigeria respectively.
