The deterioration of the non-traditional export sector in Ghana has been of much concern to governments and other agencies as the sector holds the key to the country's economic development. The gravity of the situation is demonstrated by high attrition rate noticed among the non-traditional commodity exporters in Ghana. Cases of rejection of the non-traditional exports at various destinations became rampant due to their inability to meet specifications or standards. Earlier studies focused on financial and training needs of the sector. However, the present study critically analysed the export market information management in the non-traditional export sector in Ghana. The study was devoted to the analysis of export market information available to non-traditional commodity exporters in Ghana. it determined the extent to which market information is used to determine non-traditional exporters international operations. The study examined the timeliness, location, form, accuracy, affordability and the use of export market information among non-traditional commodity exporters in Ghana.
