The main purpose of the study is to determine safe allowable limit of the withdrawal of sand per year by using modeling technique based on well approved Geographic Information System (GIS) based software which is capable to take all environmental factors as input and based on the various approved environmental equation produces a well approved results. In the process of searching the right modeling software it was understood that soil erosion and sediment yield are two different things and in order to find out the replenishment rate of sand mining site sediment yield is calculated.
