A survey was conducted in Chiwang VDC of Rukum district during May, 2014 to assess the socioeconomic status and gender analysis of seed producers. For the study, 60 households were selected by using simple random sampling. Data were collected from pre-tested questionnaire by using face to face interview schedule. Findings of the study revealed that average family size of households was 5.6 and it was found more in seed producing households (6.25).
