The present study revealed that, majority of the respondents were in favour of inclusion of sex education in schools. Thus, there is a need to consider sex education essential for proper growth for a balanced view point. The more we consider this taboo and hide information, the more mystiques are built around it, and the more alluring it gets. Though sex education alone cannot eradicate all the crimes, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and other adolescents problems; but it could be one of the best initiatives which may at least decrease the probability of problems faced by the adolescents and the society in matters related to sex. Thus, there is a need to contemplate on the matters concerning sex education to build a better society. It is very rightly said that, Knowledge is Power and in this high-risk day and age, children need all the information they can get. Only by opening up the discussion about sex and beginning to talk to children by catching them young, we will be able to protect and help them to adopt right attitude, values and healthy relationships.
