This book evaluates the efficiency of a new categorisation for maxillofacial vascular lesions depending upon their anatomical location alone, or inconjunction with standard classification (Mulliken & Glowacki) in providinginputs into the pre-op investigations and effective surgical management ofsuch lesions depending upon their anatomical position. The extent of surgical resection, approach to the lesion and Haemorrhage control were decided keeping into account the clinical finding, anatomical location and size of the Lesion. Starting with the diagnostic imaging CT with Contrast was the most used method of investigation, where as few vascular lesions did not require any diagnostic imaging. On Post Operative follow up satisfactory aesthetic and functional outcome were noticed in majority of patients where as very few patients had complications with incomplete resection. The overall satisfaction quotient was high with fair achievement of functional and aesthetic outcome to the expectations ofsurgeon and patient.
