Sarubbi s contribution going beyond the reaffirmation of the rights of the child seeks to discern the conceptions the caregivers of high-quality day-care centers have of their child-care (it is noteworthy that in 2012 there were 210 thousand children in day-care centers in São Paulo city alone). Another important aspect, related to Public Health, lies in the study s contribution to the organization of the services of Health and Education at the point where their different fields of knowledge intersect, thus stimulating the democratic participation of the professional personnel and the participating families. The study permits the qualification and quantification of the differences/similarities of the conceptions of child-care and exemplifies the use of software in qualitative research. In brief, his work in the field of health promotion and education serves as an interesting example for later emulation. Finally, the importance of having robust information on which to base shared technical decisions is well highlighted. Prof. Cláudio Leone, Full Professor of the Mother and Child Health Department of the Public Health School of the University of São Paulo.
