This book was birthed out of the realization that there are not many studies on the ethical decision- making process of executives in healthcare concerning business operations and clinical practices. In fact, the field of healthcare is virtually devoid of any model in which researchers have questioned administrators' decision-making processes in relation to ethical dilemmas. Yet, healthcare professionals certainly need a decision-making paradigm to address the different dilemmas they face in a logical, acceptable, and ethical context. It is for this reason that this book examines and projects the symphonological theory approach to resolving ethical dilemmas. It is expected that the findings and postulations in this book will drastically reduce unethical decisions made by healthcare executives and lay a foundation to ensure healthcare administrators take all relevant considerations into account when resolving and preventing ethical dilemmas.
