It is now one of Facebook's largest New York history groups with more than 150,000 members sharing pictures and information about Long Island's incredible past.

Stacy Mandel Kaplan is an attorney who was raised and lives in Oceanside, NY. Her Brooklyn-raised parents made their way to Nassau from Kings and Queens counties and shaped within her a life filled with love for Long Island. She enjoys hosting alumni events and has a passion for connecting people and community. She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Hofstra University and a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
