This book conducts an extensive study of the corporate diversification effect on a value of a multisegment company. In the beggining the author covers the prior literature on the subject and investigates theoretical benefits and costs of the diversification. Finally, the author compares the obtained firms' values to their market values in order to examine whether the multisegment companies are traded at a premium or discount.
Autorenporträt
The author was born in a small Russian town called Krasnodar. He moved to Switzerland in 2011 and studied at Swiss gymnasium. In 2013 he started his bachelor's degree at the University of Zurich. The author has written his bachelor's thesis in 2016. Right now he is pursuing a master's degree at the University of Zurich.
