Autorenporträt
Kayß, Sarah Katharina
Sarah Katharina Kayß 1985 in Koblenz, hat Geschichtswissenschaften, Vergleichende Religionswissenschaften und britische Kolonialgeschichte in Deutschland und Großbritannien studiert. Derzeit ist sie Promotionsstudentin am War Studies Department am King's College London. Ihre Gedichte, Fotografien und Essays sind veröffentlicht in Deutschland, der Schweiz, Österreich, Großbritannien, Italien, Neuseeland, den USA und Kanada. Sarah ist Preisträgerin der Manuskriptförderung des Literaturwerks Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar und des Verbandes Deutscher Schriftsteller (2013) für ihren Gedicht- und Essayband "Ich mag die Welt, so wie sie ist", der 2014 in München im Allitera Verlag erschienen ist. Sarah Katharina Kayß 1985 in Koblenz (Germany) has studied History, Comparative Religion and British Empire History in the UK and Germany. She is currently a doctoral student in the War Studies Department at King's College London. Her poems, photographs and essays have been published in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the UK, Italy, New Zealand, the USA and Canada. Sarah has won the manuscript award of the Literaturwerk of the county of Rhineland-Palatinate and the German Writers Association (2013) for her poetry and essay volume Ich mag die Welt, so wie sie ist which was published by Allitera in Munich in 2014.
