Shu Ejima was born in 1976, and has been a regular participant in new writers competitions. A lifelong fan of science-fiction and fantasy prose, Ejima has also long been impressed by the sense of scale found in Hollywood films. His curiosity towards what readers and viewers consider is "interesting" has left a deep impression on his heart, leading his dreams to create truly global works. In his free time, Ejima enjoys barbecuing and martial arts. Ejima was awarded the 2013 Golden Elephant Award for International Fiction for his debut work Quick Draw.
