This report was prepared as a partial fulfillment for the requirement of B.Sc. Degree in Forestry for Tribhuvan University. The research was intended to find out influence of forest management system on carbon stocking in Shorea robusta forest. Average Soil Organic Carbon was found highest (7.73 ton/hac) in Coppice with standard 25% (CWS 25%) than in Simple Coppice System (SCS)5.87 ton/hac, Coppice with Standard 50% (CWS 50%)6.19 ton/hac and High Forest System (HFS)4.64 ton/hac.However, Total Plant carbon was found highest in HFS with the average of 100.61 ton/hac than 73.35 ton/hac in CWS 50%, 58.93 ton/hac in CWS 25% and 21.13 ton/hac in SCS. Total Carbon Stocking was found highest in HFS (105.25 ton/hac) than CWS 50% (79.54 ton/hac),CWS 25% (66.66 ton/hac) and SCS (27 ton/hac).
