Produktbeschreibung
This book highlights the significance of imaging techniques for concrete applications, and presents the general problems concerning concrete infrastructure at large. It provides an in-depth review of image processing techniques that can be employed for the evaluation of concrete structures, as well as the common types of deterioration that occur in concrete infrastructure. Various non- destructive testing techniques that employ imaging for the assessment of concrete structures are also discussed, along with some practical applications of these techniques and the different image processing approaches used in several studies dealing with surface, sub-surface and beneath-surface analysis. This book can be a great resource for civil engineers, as it bridges the gap between concrete structural health monitoring and computer vision by demonstrating the effectiveness of NDT imaging methods and providing a good understanding of how image processing approaches can be employed to obtain reliable information about the condition of concrete structures.
