This study laid emphasis on use of different types of natural materials as the good gastroretentive, sustained release polymers in combination. Hence, various other kinds of material can be utilized to formulate the Floating systems and release retarding systems which can floated upto maximum required time and release the drug in specific time period. Moreover such blends can be used to release the drug in specific pattern by suppressing the snags of either one or both the materials.
