Sharmistha Sahu (born December 18, 1971, Bargarh, Odisha) is a contemporary Odia poet. She has been writing poetry since 8th grade but started publishing in journals since 1992. She is inspired by the nature, love and loneliness inside her. Her published collections are Sukhasabu, Pabanara Pacheri and Jhada Pakshira Gita. At present she lives in Talcher, Odisha."
