This is the first story published by Sharon Myers Falk. It is based on a short poem her grandparents recited to her when she was a little girl. She would like to thank a very talented young artist, Corina Briseno, for helping her bring this story to life. Sharon grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and now lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband, Dave, and children, Christine and Justin.
