"Shary Connella is an award-winning medical device and pharmaceutical sales representative who currently works for the world's largest wound care company. In connection with her work, she has interfaced with insurance companies, healthcare practitioners, healthcare facilities, and the United States Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a division of Health and Human Services managed by the United States government. Connella graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in journalism and is an awardwinning freelance photojournalist whose work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in San Francisco, New York, and Miami. She has been published in multiple publications, including the New York Times, USA Today, and New York Magazine. She has previously worked as a freelance photographer for The New York Times company and Wainscot Media.
