M. L. Doyle has served in the U.S. Army at home and abroad for more than three decades as both a soldier and civilian. Mary is the author of "I'm Still Standing; From Captive U.S. Soldier to Free Citizen - My Journey Home (Touchstone, 2010) which was nominated for an NAACP Image award. Her mystery, The Peacekeeper's Photograph, won the Bronze Medal in the Independent Publisher Awards and won The Rebecca Reads Choice Award. The books, The Sapper's Plot, and The General's Ambition, round out the indie published Master Sgt. Harper mystery series. She has also penned, The Bonding Spell, the first book in an urban fantasy series, an adult romance series, is the co-author of the memoir, A Promise Fulfilled (Cleckley Enterprises, 2013) and has authored multiple novellas and short stories which appear in a variety of publications. Mary currently works as the Chief of Media Relations in the Fort George G. Meade Public Affairs office and served as principle editor for this project.
