Unlike other mindfulness resources for moms and moms-to-be, this compassionate book is grounded in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), a proven program. Guided meditations and gentle yoga practices are interwoven with expert strategies for preventing postpartum depression. Clear suggestions for how to follow the program day by day are accompanied by quotations and reflections from other women, guiding each reader to take the best care of herself--as well as her baby.
