Produktbeschreibung
Technology development plays a key role in national
competitiveness by giving a country a competitive
edge in the information age. Lots of researchers
have focused on specific areas of technology
development, such as technology transfer, technology
acquisition, and technology management, for most of
developed countries. However, they have seldom
discussed the influence of technology development on
other categories of national competitiveness and
vice-versa in the developing and less-developed
countries. This book, therefore, examines the
interrelationships among technology development,
economic performance, and human resources, the
technology efficiency with technology development
and management capabilities, and the role of
technology development in national competitiveness.
In addition, our study offers a path to the
identification of how countries should supplement
their insufficient capabilities, and what are the
most important issues that need to be addressed in
retuning their technology development policies in
order to enhance their national competitiveness.
