Autorenporträt
Vinay Yadav is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (West Bengal). He earned his master's and doctoral degrees in Environmental Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay, Mumbai, and his bachelor's degree from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He is also a recipient of the Award for Excellence in PhD Research for the years 2018-2020 for outstanding research contributions by IIT Bombay. Immediately after his PhD, he worked as the Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Technology, Management and Economics, Technical University of Denmark. His expertise include environmental management, optimization under uncertainty and interval analysis-based operations research techniques. Shishir Shrotriya is currently Head, Centre for Maritime Economy & Connectivity (CMEC) at Research & Information System (RIS), New Delhi. During his international assignment he has been Counsellor (S&T) at the Embassy of India, Moscow. He received his PhD and MTech from IIT Delhi. He specializes in communication engineering, maritime technologies and integration. He has varied scientific and project management experience and has worked closely with international and Indian partners. He has worked in areas related to indigenous sea-vessel design & related technologies and has authored many papers on innovation concepts, creative problem-solving and systems integration. He is a member of various science and engineering professional bodies and has vast collaborative project experience with academia, industry, and research institutes. During his current assignment, he is actively involved in working towards the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision (MAKV) 2047 and Maritime India Vision (MIV) 2030 with research work, stakeholder integration, bilateral multilateral projects and initiatives.
