Phosphorus and sulphur play a vital role in the nutrition of plants. In fact; these are the nutrients, which lack mostly in the soils. Analysis of Indian soils has indicated that soils are medium to low in the phosphorus and deficient in sulphur. Therefore, application of phosphorus and sulphur fertilizers becomes important both from quality as well as production point of view. Keeping the above facts in mind, this research experiment was carried out.

(Agri.) degree course at Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat, India) under the guidance of Dr. M.K. Khistaria in 2011. Now he is working as Agricultural Officer in the State Department of Agriculture, Government of Rajasthan.
