Mr. Siddappa Shankargouda is student of horticulture. He had done his Msc (horticulture) in vegetable science and done his research mainly on chilli male sterility from K.R.C.C.H arabhavi (UHS, Bagalkot). Now he is undertaking Phd (horticulture) from K.R.C.C.H arabhavi (UHS, Bagalkot).
