Did you know that indulging in just three alcoholic drinks per week increases a woman's risk of breast cancer by 15%? If you are shocked by that, we have 101 more jaw-dropping truths about alcohol and women that will make you rethink that glass of wine. These are the hard truths about alcohol they don't want you to find out......... Sienna Green's latest eye-opening book, "Why Don't You Drink Alcohol? 101 Reasons To Stop Drinking Like A Woman Called Karen," offers a compelling blend of humor, personal narratives, and stark revelations about alcohol consumption among women. Through 101 enlightening insights, Green manages to provoke laughter, induce discomfort, and stir a sobering awareness of the pervasive harm alcohol inflicts on every facet of life. This is not just another book; it's a transformative journey that will make you rethink your next drink. "101 Reasons" is here to bust some serious myths about ladies and libations. It's your go-to guide for all the sober curious women out there and a friendly reminder for ladies in sobriety about why they swapped Pinot for Perrier in the first place. Penned by Sienna, an ex-actress who traded stage scripts for sobriety journals, this book is a candid chronicle of her journey from living sober through Alcoholics Anonymous to living it up, sans the spirits. Green serves up a refreshing reality check against the backdrop of a booze-soaked culture. With 101 compelling reasons to quit, she sparks a desire to begin an extraordinary adventure that's entirely alcohol-free. Inside, you'll discover shocking truths about alcohol, including:Why alcohol can contribute to the development of certain cancers (including breast cancer) and how going booze-free could help reduce your risk How giving up alcohol is the secret to scoring your dream bod and why an alcohol-free life is vital to maintaining it (rather than being a yo-yo dieter - Keto anyone?!) Why alcohol impacts your gut microbiome and how that impacts everything (negatively!) How alcohol can increase your chances of infidelity and why giving up the booze can be the love potion your relationship deserves Why parenting with a hangover is the worst thing you can endure and how giving up alcohol might prevent your children from turning completely feral ('might') How alcohol can lead to situations that can ruin the rest of your life, and why quitting alcohol allows you to take back control Why alcohol can destroy your bank balance and how going alcohol-free can give you access to luxury handbag heaven (and plenty of other dreamy splurges) How alcohol turns you into a bad b*tch and why quitting booze can allow you to heal those wounds Why sober dating is the rawest form of dating, and if alcoholic anonymous is your thing, how to avoid those pesky 13th steppers ........plus many more reasons to stop drinking like a woman called Karen. Curious why millions of women are trading their wine glasses for water bottles, saying "cheers" to clarity, and dancing into a more fulfilling life? They've had a wake-up call about the real deal with alcohol. If you are ready to be inspired, empowered, and possibly even a little bit amazed - grab yourself a copy of Why Don't You Drink Alcohol? Autorenporträt
Sienna Green is an Australian-born actress turned freelance writer based in Los Angeles. She prefers to remain anonymous because of her involvement as a member of the weird biscuit and substandard coffee club (if you know, you know). After a tumultuous decade typified by poor decisions and squandered potential, she decided to give up drinking 'for a month' the day after her 29th birthday. A month became three months, which turned into almost seven years and counting. In sobriety, she has begun the process of healing the trauma that she believes led her to drink to excess. She has reconnected with her childhood passion for writing and is immensely grateful for the opportunity to inspire and entertain readers with her unusually humorous experiences in recovery.
