My dungeon became a stronghold, my monsters an army. Kingdoms rose and fell, wars were waged and ended, all beneath my watch. Legends spread throughout the land of my treasures and perils. New wanderers came seeking glory, justice, knowledge, and peril. Many entered, most didn't exit. Until came a youth with fire in his eyes and power in his fists. This warrior fought through my legions, bested my champions, and in the end, toppled my throne.As thedust settled, I gazed up at the smiling face of my vanquisher. The worthy inheritor of my domain. In that moment I knew this was not the end. Merely a new beginning in an unending story. My story. The story of how the universe remade itself. And I found purpose once more.
