Sisay Zenebe is born in February 19, 1957 in Jimma, Ethiopia. He teaches at Addis Ababa University Faculty of Technology in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning in the fields of Real estate Development and Planning, Urban and Regional Planning and Urban Economics.
